I heard they can prosecute you in 32 states for making a kid sit on a trolling boat for 4 hours or longer. :D

Shawn; kids are not my problem. It's the wife. She enjoys fishing with me, but now refuses to troll any longer. Last time she went with me trolling, she got sick from the smell of 2 stroke oil when the winds blew in from the back of the boat:(.
She said it was so bad, she wanted me to buy a 4 stroke:eek:. But I couldn't justify the expense:rolleyes:.
Now she just bottom fishes with me.

p.s. What was wrong with your honda? Saw where you almost had to get towed in. Was it just routine maintance?

Bad gas, changed filters and it's okay now. Let me know if you need me to take your wife jigging. It's one of the services I provide...

Flip side, my wife likes to read when she's on the water, so she might rather be trolling with you!

I've seen your wife; I wouldn't let her fish with anyone else if I were you:).

Glad it was just bad gas. I suppose it had water in it when you filled your tank. You don't let your gas sit long enough for it to go bad.

My kids were probably 3 or 4 the first time they went.

My daughter is 14 now and would probably love to go, but she's a 14 year old girl.....so communication with me is usually a few cross eyed grunts.

My son can't get enough of it though. He LOVES to be out White Perch fishing on the Magothy, or to be pond hopping for bass on the shore.
