We are real wusses....viz has been generally 75-100'+ which is not uncommon for the summer months. And to keep the shock down, when first entering the water, the surface temps are about 87-88* with a 5-8 degree drop once you descend at least 10 feet:D Real rough experience.

I just bought a Hawaiian Sling to get me started into spearfishing. Looking to pick up a spear gun in another month or so. I am tired of hearing all of the stories of hogfish, big grouper and mutton being speared daily. If you can't beat em, join em:rolleyes:

Down here the elite fishermen are the spearfishermen:D.

If you crush the barb on your speargun are you allowed to pre-season C&R fish?? :eek: :D
