The last weekend in Oct....What are your fishing plans?
Looks like Garlien and I will try to get out on Sat for a while and maybe give the trolling gear a workout.
I've never had much luck trolling aside from trolling on chartered boats, so I'm looking forward to the education, and hopefully to some positive results as well. We'll be somewhere on the bay, north of the bay bridge and well south of the Key bridge. Give us a shout on the vhf if you're out. Pick a channel and post it here. |
I gather up all my old shad bodies and torn BKD's.
Put them in a big Tupperware bowl for the trick or treaters without a costume. How hard is it to at least try ? Have to hold the bowl high enough so they can not see in to it. They hear a thunk in the bag - figure they got a treat - but find a trick when they get home :D |
I may try tomorrow evening for a few hours before dark. I am undecided whether or not to continue to try to eel for bigger fish or chase fish with light tackle for action. We will see if I even get out.

Greg- Any luck with the eels? I'm tried several times the past few weeks with little success, and am about to give up.

We are heading out on Saturday but we are not sure where yet. I might hit the Patapsco or put on at Sandy Point (depending on Marks report from tomorrow) and fish North of the bridge. If you would like to call me on the VHF go to Ch. 19 that's where I'll be.
