Sunday

I am going to try to get on the water on Sunday for the first time in about 6 weeks. I was out of the country for a while. Anyone else plan to get out? Anything going on in the upper bay or is everyone fishing south of the bridge? If you're out there, give me a holler.

I am hoping the weather gets a little nicer and I get a "honey pass" for Thursday and Friday evening...Sunday will be automatic...I just need to figure out my plan for Saturday...

Wondering the same about the areas above the bridge...Last time I was out was right after the rain and fishing in the chocolate trash was not that good.....

I'll be out several times (I hope) in the upper bay. Probably from Balt light to Key Bridge area. Will try both western side (Gibson Island area) and easter shore side (Rock Hall area).
Last time out, lots of small fish trolling for me.

Zam gets all the big fish in the upper bay:D.

Been working OT so havent been able to get out during the week but will be out there saturday. Im also hoping to get out a few hours on friday before work. Been dieing to try out my new Curado/St Croix combo.

I mainly fish above the bridge but on calm days will cruise south to ebay area.

If you guys get out please post some reports and conditions.
I'll be sure to do the same.

Just scored some free tickets to sundays Ravens game so its going to be a busy weekend.

GO RAVENS

Nice score on the Ravens Tix! I need to get out Sunday as I haven't been out in a while. I'll probably start out trolling small spoons and such and see where the day leads us.

I trolled for 3 hours last Sunday starting at daybreak running north and south from Hacketts to Tolly with the charter boats. I ran 4 rods on planers- 2 #15 tonys, 1 #17 Tony and a tube. No luck though the waves were up to 4' and it was just too rough for my little 19' Twin Vee.

If I can get off early tomorrow I am going to try around the bridge.

I was surprised... the water quality was good considering the rain we had. The clarity was tinted slightly more than normal and the I seen a few tree branches floating around but that was it.

Quick report. Went down to put gas in the boat. Noticed at the marina winds from west. Why not try trolling for an hour before dark:D. Hit the mouth of the Bodkin and found winds from the north with 3 ft rollers. We could have surfed the waves. Good news; lots of birds looking, water quality was very good, picked up a nice rock ten minutes into the troll. Bad news; saw a telephone pole floating; didn't catch any more rock:mad:.
Out tomorrow morning in Lou's boat. Headed south from Sandy, looking for more action.

Is there anyone you can call to come haul that away if you see large debri like that?

A floating telephone pole or whatever could obviously be a deadly situation.

By the way, thanks for the report.

Im still hoping to go out friday to also fuel up the boat for saturday and get a few hours fishing in before work but looks like i'll be solo.

I got out briefly Sunday. Dropped the boat in at Wilson Point. Took Dad to cast at a couple points. He was picking up Nice white perch and yellow perch in shallow water on the points on roostertails. I dropped him at his pier @ 12:55 so he could see kickoff.

I then ran across the bay and trolled south from pooles in the channel. 4 rods, three spoons, one hose. Some nice marks. Dirty water. Ran over to the cut at HMI and made a few casts. Had a few hits, probably perch hitting my rattletrap. Ran back in. Nice day, and the boat needed the excercise.
