Brian; Congratulations. But I couldn't disagree with you more.

I hope I'm wrong, but I am afraid this once great nation has fallen for the same unsustainable promises given to many of the European Countries who are in dire monetary straits.

The people of this nation have spoken. I see that I am truely in a minority as all of the Questions I voted against have passed in Maryland:(.

I will be fishing even more often, as I need the theropy.

If you and I ever meet; perhaps you can buy me a beer; I need one.

IMHO - beer will not cut it.

Go right to hard liquor , lots and lots of it.

Anna asked about the election this morning and was happy to hear the news. Not sure why exactly but she had apparently been under the impression a lot of her favorite cartoons would have been removed from nickelodian if Mitt had won

Don't think there's enough beer in the world ....

Trust me - it will dull the pain.

Attachment 726Just be sure to bring enough. Here's where, county by county - 2012.

reds 11-09-2012 07:19 AM

It's sad when 5 counties in Maryland (total 24) control the vote.

drichitt 11-09-2012 09:56 AM

I heard a comment on the radio the other day that Maryland is probably the most liberal state in the country now. The popular vote for Obama in Md was something like 64%:(

seahuntr 11-09-2012 11:07 AM

Regarding 'so happy', it's my take on it that most voters aren't necesarily 'happy' with everything about either candidate. If true, a map of actual happiness across the country would be interesting.

Looks like the Eastern Shore and Western Maryland need to start their own state.

The popular vote was run up by three counties. How does it feel to be treated as a second class citizen?

Oh, you mean those areas that O'Malley just disenfranchised with his sleazy redistricting scheme??

Hey Reds; with Maryland's watermen having a dying way of life, maybe they should take a page out of the Native American playbook and start their own casino's. If you give better odds than the State of Maryland, you could draw away all of Md's gamblers:D

Marty--

My vote went exactly like yours did...everything and everyone I voted for was defeated. If I lived 2 blocks away from where I do, I'd at least have been able to vote for Andy Harris.

If you were only to count the votes of people who PAY taxes, we'd no longer be an Obamanation nor the most liberal state in the union.

As it is, the hand-out line is longer and the debt gets bigger...unless the House lets the country go over the 'fiscal cliff' which no longer looks like so big a deal to me.

Oh, and Skip, not even 151 dulls this...I tried it:D

We already have them here. They are called American Legions and VFW's. That's why no casinos are over here except near OC.

50% of their take HAS to go to charity, by law.

Blakesdad 11-14-2012 05:00 PM

Well this grew hair in my absence.... Sorry

I posted this election night about 11 I guess. I was mildly concerned for awhile that the Pubs would take over, which scared the crap out of me.

I'm not thrilled with Obama, but will take him in a New York minute over anyone the Pubs have put up in the last three elections.

If anyones angry with the Dems, ALL BLAME goes squarely on John McCainn.

HE HAD IT.. Fairly easy I would say also.. BUT NOOOOOO, he had to pick that dumb ***** as a VP... WTF ????

REpublicans are the laughing stock of our political system. And they have no one to blame but themselves.

Anyhouts. the abortion issue and the fact that the next Pres will pick at least one, probably two Supreme Court Justices, is why I voted for Obama..

Carry on...:D Fishing sucks....

Marty, for better or worse, Obama picked a seasoned veteran of the political system. Mc Cann picked a flash in the pan. He HAD the opportunity to pick many other seasoned statesmen and would have won, easily.

But as I said.... Noooooo......

He's a dumbass.. He's bitter, and really has no agenda and pretty much a lame duck, until 2014.

And now all he wants to do is cause a ruckess with his butt buddy Lindsey..

Both of them need to go...

Now, who wants a beer ???:)

Skip 11-15-2012 09:26 PM

Ed D - Trick is to continue drinking heavily next four years. Sober up and it hurts too much.

PhilK999 11-19-2012 06:55 PM

I fully agree Palin cost McCain the last election. He had my vote until that point. She is a whack job!
