Who got some good SOlomon's info?

I'm taking a highly valued client out tomorrow out of Solomons...one of my biggest customers and a truly great friend...wanna put him on some fish, but I heard of a good bite north, but would rather run south? Anyone PM me with some good info on where to find the bait? Been a while since I've hit down south!! Thanks

Thanks...your jigs will go to good use first light tomorrow morning, I'll let you know for sure tomorrow night!!
Dave, sounds like a plan, after our jigging we'll blow south!

Marty will do, glad to hear Mark will be out there too!
Thanks guys

Mark,
Either go straight east from where I think your starting out, or go WAAAAYYYY south.

Baldzilla 12-14-2009 08:08 PM

Francis,
Thanks, sent you a PM....

Dave, I don't bow but I'll give you some mad props if your advice works out...

Slayer, I trust Dave more than you, he works on charters :D

SOLOMONS 2310 12-14-2009 08:21 PM

Rough going today from HS to 72A. My first "skunk" of the fall season. Heard of a 36" caught early and a 46" caught deep on a very heavy mojo mid-day. Was monitoring 68 and didn't hear anything positive from the HI to 70. Everyone north moving south, and those south moving north looking for productive water. Some bait, some nice marks deep, a few gannets, but not much catch'n going on. Ran into a couple guys at the mini-mart this evening refueling their rig who pulled in 3 fish around 70. Was going to run back north, but had to pull my lines and head home around 1:30 due to low fuel. Very foggy this morning! Anyway, crushed them in this same area Wed. and Sat. (a lot more bait on both of those days). For what it's worth... I regret not heading north this morning. Hope you find fish for your client tomorrow!

PS - Gill netters still working in tandem around the HI...

Tons of bait in Solomons on sat, but where it went is a puzzle. I agree with way below PLO....Don

I"d launch from PLO, unless you're going to jig up north first. Find bait/marks and circle the wagons.

Thanks to all, sounds like we got some good chances...gonna start north for some jigging and head south...anyone out there we'll be on 68 and on my cell 410 353 8193, out from 0500-just after dark!
Mark

Hey Mark.......keep an eye on the afternoon wind..................Mark

Thanks again to all for the info, thanks to Francis for the call on the water...that small craft advisory must have been scared, we never saw a wave all day!
