Whose More Annoying ???
Can't help myself... Whose more annoying Barta or Iaconelli ????
I'll take Mike any day... Barta's a moron.... |
IMHO - Mike is more annoying but I'll bet 90% is for TV.
Barta's early stuff was great - hardcore fishing. |
That's like asking, is it Rex or Baldzilla?

Ike, by far!
|
I love em both and I want to fish with both of them. Two dudes who love fishing
|
Ike is a cool dude off camera. Beleive it or not a real family man. I think Barta after his accident, may have changed his bad a?? attidude.
I would like to spend hours with both of them though. Great fishermen and a wealth of knowledge. |
Few weeks ago - saw Tred's show. He was in a wheel chair - paralyzed from chest down. He could move his arms and was taken back to his ranch.
|
Barta is a great guy. He puts on a show for the camera and crowds and has earned his reputation as a good fishermen. Read his book and you'll know how crazy he truly is.
Tred has raised a ton of money for folks in need over the years and has been one tough SOB while dealing with paralysis and cancer over the last year. Ike is supposed to be a great guy, but all the damn screaming is a little over the top. They're definitely both entertaining. -D |

Last year around this time I was at the boat ramp in Havre de Grace and Mike Iaconelli and another B.A.S.S. Pro ? were ahead of me putting there boats in.I talked with Iaconelli for a little bit. They were there pre fishing. He was not that annoying in person But then again I only talked for a few minutes.

After Mike won the Classic there was a special on with, I believe it was Bo Jackson and they talked about how to handle the press and longevity.
It is very hard to stay on top in any highly competitive world and in B.A.S.S. your here one day and gone the next. I can not find anything on the net about this "Interview". What I took away from this interview special was that Mike was told to do what ever it takes to get camera time. If you are not in front of the camera people will forget you and the sponsors will not continue to provide support. Mike knows that screaming (translated= HEY LOOK AT ME) will keep his footage from ending up on the editing room floor. And that's the bottom line. Kevin VanDam , KVD, on the other hand lets his fishing do the talking. When Mike is not in front of the camera, I believe he is a sincere guy and happy to be living his dream. |
