Planer board lines?

Is there any new news that I might have missed? Someone told my wife today that you need a Capt's License to run 150' planer lines??? I just thought you had to have a screw loose (or 2). Has anyone else heard of any new regs about this? I looked on the DNR website but couldn't find anything stating anything about it. PLEASE HELP!
Thanks,

I have not heard about that either, just looked on the DNR website and Maryland General Assembly webpage and did not see anything.

I haven't heard anything. I run 140' off each side and have 7 lines off each.

In Maryland, where the gov't tries to regulate everything, I wouldn't put it past them to try to set restrictions on board lines; but I would think there would be some comentary about it first. Sleep tight Jeff, you can still run your 165' lines:D.

I'll see you all later tonight.
