lowrance 7300hd to uniden 525vhf
 

I am having trouble connecting these two units via nema 183. Does anyon have a wiring diagram for them. Thanks

There are no wiring diagrams to connect units of different brands. What you can do is get your manuals in front of you and give me a call. I can walk you through it in a few minutes. Have your manuals open to the page where they discuss nmea0183 wire colors. 866-735-5926 ext 104

sorry for the delay i havnt had much time in the past few days. I dont have much time to call even though, here is what the manuals say if you could help if not i will call when i get the chance thanks alot.

In the manual for the lowrance it has lists the wires as

Com-1
to unit
yellow (transmit)
orange(receive)
sheild(ground)

com-2
to unit
blue(Transmit)
green(receive)
sheild(ground)

on the radio i have
yellow(nema 0183 in -)
orange(nema 0183 out-)
red(not used)
white(nema 0183 in +)
green(nema 0183 out+)
black(not used)
blue(external speaker-/ground)
Brown(external speaker +)

Here is what you do:

Lowrance >>>>> Radio
yellow (transmit) >>>> white(nema 0183 in +)
orange(receive) >>>> green(nema 0183 out+)
sheild(ground) >>>> yellow(nema 0183 in -)
sheild(ground) >>>> orange(nema 0183 out-)
