Ready to go!!!

I ran my boat for the first time in 2010 today. No fishing gear on board but it was good to get the cobb-webs off the Honda. Water temps at the bay bridge were about 36 degrees. We need some sun and warm days. No ospreys in the nests yet either. :)

Way to go !

I am hoping for the temps to improve a little bit more before I drop mine it...Its an inboard so I like to be a little extra careful....Hopefull I can get it in by mid march....

Would be great to welcome day light savings time, warm temps, and the Bay all in a day....

Don't get too comfortable with a few days of 50 degree weather. We still got some cold weather ahead with a storm on the horizon. Water is still very cold and it's going to be about two weeks behind normal so sit tight..........Gary

Is it legal to go out on a boat without fishing gear ? :D
Glad your shakedown cruise went well.

I have a little telescopic rod and a 6 lure box hidden away on my boat for those days where I think I'm just going over to Dobbins to relax.....and then the Perchin' bug bites me....

The ospreys will be here on St. Patty's Day.......just like every year.

Don't know why but I've been watching them for years and that's the magic day.

That's just like the black drum showing up on Father's day or the Shad run when the dogwoods bloom! Cool.............Gary
