New Judge 22
It is not every day a local builder comes out with a new model. Judge Yachts just finished their 22cc with a head in the console.
Here are some options the owner had added to the build: custom t-top full transom with bracket transom seating forward seating upgrade power to suzuki 175hp It is the same hull as the previous 22cc but the boat was rebalanced with fuel cell placement to accomodate the larger head and bracketed outboard. Here are a few shots of her during some water testing: http://www.classicparker.com/phpBB2/files/nj22a_164.jpg http://www.classicparker.com/phpBB2/files/nj22b_181.jpg http://www.classicparker.com/phpBB2/files/nj22c_119.jpg |
Looks great! I think this boat with the bracket is the perfect CC for the Chessie. Extra LOA means a more opportunities to fish on days that would keep some shorebound and the full transom affords more fishing room.
NICE WORK BILL:D |
Bracket gives the boat slightly less draft too. The motor can be mounted a few inches higher on a bracket. Good for getting into the shallows.
For the more fishing minded, fly guys may not want a t-top or forward seating/storage boxes. The boat can be had with a standard transom hung motor as well. Bill is shy. He was hiding from the camera while the boat was running. I guess he didnt want to make a pretty boat ugly. :D (he needs to hire models in 'kinis :p ) |
greg, Is that boat remote control? Looks nice...........Gary

Greg, that is fine looking boat just wish I had the $$$$$ to get something like that. :(

Wow
I like that boat a lot. Is that the only one of its kind?

Bill Judge is hoping that it is one of many. This is the first with a head in the console. |
Greg,
Tell Bill that boat needs a 30 gallon livewell and a forward casting deck. The rear seat backrest should fold down like the "bay style" boats do so you can stand on and cast in flat calm conditions throwing topwater. What does this boat draw? We were fishing in inches of water on the Patapsco yesterday. 100% necessary for me. |
Draft is less than a foot. Those options can be done. It only takes money. You can get a livewell in the leaning post. I personally would have prefered no forward boxes and no casting deck like is standard so you can lean against the gunwale some.

I really like the 36, if I could only justify it.
