No Croak
 
Had heard of croaker bite to the south.. Had to try.

Got out this evening two hours before dark 5/19.


Tried the local croaker holes at the mouth of the south and west river with

no luck. Did catch a couple small white perch jiging that was it for the night.

Will try again in a week or so stay tuned...

Going to start my annual migration South. Trying to hit the Honga this weekend to see what's up.

From what I've heard, you need to run really south, as in Solomons and the Patuxent. I read a report on TF of croaks being caught down there in some numbers, and I'm waiting with baited breath to see of they come up here. The last couple years near the South Rover have been kind of a bust for croaks...
