I was pulled over Sunday by a local cop who had these Tag Camera's.

I basically passed him at a light, and the next thing I know, HIS lights are in my rear view. Crap.... Turns out I've been driving on a suspended for five months :eek:

Suspended was a load of crap, fixed immediately. I'd like an apology from Motor Vehicles, but I got a better chance of winning the lottery.

But damn.. This camera takes a picture of your license plate, and within 5 seconds, knows whether your on the wrong side of Johnny Law. In fact while I was being written up, he caught another dude.

i heard report that they were 'cleaning up' going through the apt complexes. hardly any tags were in good shape.

note to self - get actual valid tag for trailer,...

WOW..

State Boys have had the technology for 3 years or so.

The scanning can also tell if your late for emission testing, which will suspend your tags.

I never knew what those things were used fpr. With computers in our cars and trucks it will not be long before they just shut it down so you cannot drive.

Its unbelievable.. I'm just so impressed.

I didn;t even tell you all, cop opened his folder up, just from Sunday, he had 12 licenses. Says he gets over 200 !!! in a week...

I guess its a good thing. My luck I'll be T-boned by someone without insurance and I'll be screwed.
