Headed out tonight just as the rain ended,boy was it flat out there. No other boats around just me. Tried off the point and out around the submerged rock piles and got a few small ones. Out to the light house and picked at some more dinks. Searched around for birds but looks like they got the night off...
tried the drop offs near the green can but the same story.Marked plenty of bait but nothing was harraseing it. Wind picked up just before dark and I rolled back in. Good thing crabbing is going decent I'll probally do more of it til fishing picks up in the fall I hope,

That's the same story we could tell from our last trip out....couple of dinks, truckloads of bait and no birds to be found.:(


But I keep catching plenty of crabs on metal lures....:confused::rolleyes:
