Freshwater - Anyone been to Piney Run in Eldersburg this year?

Heading up there early tomorrow, despite the doom and gloom forecast.

My step-father tried to trout fish somewhere in Cecil Co this morning and he said the water was nasty - cloudy and full of debris. It was impossible to fish. I know that's not Piney Run but might be something to think about, especially with today's rain now too...
Good luck if you go!

Thanks Jeff. The water was incredibly clear there (it usually is) and we had a great day.

Fished from about 7:15am to noon. Ended up with 5 Largemouth, 2 nice Black Crappie and this fat ol' Yellow Perch.

2 of my Bass hit a topwater hula popper. I LOVE topwater fishing. This Perch hit a deep running crankbait.

The yellow perch fishing can be fantastic from the piers in the summer.
