Trolling after dark?

Does anyone troll after dark? Is it productive, what baits do you use?

Thanks

Dusk always seemed to be the most productive, but during the summer we would catch a few after dark.....mostly in 8 to 15' of water using small baits mimicking peanut bunker.

Last night sucked after dark though. This time of the year it's dark so darn early.

I have never tried it but would think bait would be a better choice in the dark...

Back in the day, for salmon in a different fishery, we used to use glow plugs with great results. Not sure about this fishery but I would not mind trying some time. Best to keep a careful eye out for the crab pots!

I have considered using glow in the dark twister tails and shad. Losing daylight at 5 really sucks.

Years ago - we trolled around the bay bridge at night. Two rods with Tony #19 spoons. 6 ozs and 12 ozs in lines.

Caught some nice fish near eastern Rockpile and huge concrete anchor on new bridge.

Always wanted to try a full spread at night in spring off Breezy Point - sure they'll hit.
