Chunkin bunka 6/5/13

After work/school, the boy, my neighbor Joe, and I went fishing with bunka chunks out of SPSP. It wasnt hot and heavy as we contended with a tide change but we got a limit of rockfish to 34" before heading in before dark. Hooked two rays too. No chum. just cut bait and slowly fed the edge of an erster bar. It was my first trip fishing in 3 weeks so I was itching to get out.

34" is certainly not a bad way to get back into the swing of things after a few weeks off, Well done!!!

We were good about keeping fresh bait on the hook by checking lines regularly. We chunked 5 lines spreading out our lines to cover a nice area. We were in 33' of water on the edge of a hard bottom.
