I'm a lucky man!

So yesterday was my wife's bday and she said all she wanted to do was catch rockfish today. So we took off work and headed out. All I can say is I'm sure thankful for a wife that loves fishing. Anyway a quick report. Launched out of Breezy point and headed north. Got into about 35 foot of water and set out 7 rods. Started catching fish right away but a lot of the fish were 19". We picked through these fish and ended up with three keepers. Decided to run to the eastern side and it was On FIRE for the next two hours. We ended up with 8 keepers with the biggest being 27". Wifey and crew had a great time on the water catching over 40 fish today and a great bday celebration. Marty (5th Tuition) is was great talking to you out there today. Go get them while it's hot fellas!

It was good working with you out there. I love the fact that I can throw the binoculars up and see your light colored hull. Makes you easier to find:D

We waited the fish out until the tide was right, then it was game on in our area as well. Got our overs and unders:D

Not sure how much pressure the school can take with all the charters picking through them, but it should be good for another day or two:eek:
