Out Sunday with great friends... Trolled Thomas Point area for Spanish... Not doing the best. Spotted a school of angry minnows and it was on... Ended up with one of the largest Spanish I have ever seen in the bay... 1/4 mile due south of TP light the best lure was a Capt. John spoon on a #1 planer with about 6 ' of leader and about 5 "bars" back on a penn fathom 40.

Congrats! How big was it?

Not the largest I have seen, I have caught some great ones in the keys but solid mod 20s maybe slightly bigger... Was a nice fish all around.
