Slow!!! Went fun fishing on my little boat from 6am-2pm. Caught one over as we were setting lines - then rode around for hours without a touch. Finally picked up another over and "found" a drowned 19" fish on a deep, boat rod.

Fished in front of Chesapeake Beach in 35-65'. Had heard there was a bite there the previous evening and the meter was loaded all day with bait and fish - it looked like it was on demo-mode but we couldn't get them to bite.

Most other boats had similar results. Seeing that little 19" fish was just depressing - I hate to see the big fish leave and be stuck with schoolies until November. I really need to move to Costa Rica or at least South Florida!!!

Sounds like that was actually a decent day yesterday. Bite was tough above the bridge. Ended up fishing LP to Sandy Point to Balt light. Had 1 knockdown and 1 unbuttoned fish in the 2.5 hours we fished.
Crushes were good at Mikes, band at Tolchester, and DD showed up on time. No fish but still a great day!
Tunalic caught 1 nice fish at TPL but we had a much better time so really who was the winner?? :D
