Fathers Day troll

For Father's Day, my dad was here from Louisiana and we went out in search of nice rockfish. We trolled the mouth of the Severn several times. I did my tried and true 4 rod spread with BFG 6-8 oz tandems and one 1.5 oz buck tail. We saw a few promising marks but got no fish. At around 1000 we went to Hackett's and drifted which produced some nice croakers and small perch in 9-20 feet of water(about 20 total fish...only kept a few for sandwiches later). The wives called and we had to hit up a restaurant before long. Went back to fish after eating...trolled the same route and got the same marks but got no fish. Water temp was in the low 70s. Current was pushing north. I wish I had rock to show you guys. I'm out of ideas and up for suggestions. Take it easy!

Around Sandy Point is supposed to be decent right now, but I won't ever be the one to say, "Go north to find the fish"

Livelining south of the Severn was really, really good today.
