Anybody know what the regs. are for a fishing lic. when offshore in O.C.?

You need your NOAA saltwater registry card (everyone on board). It is free this year and you can print off the computer:

For Tuna / Shark / etc - you need a Federal highly migratory permit.
It costs around $20.00.
If you get that - you do not need to register on the other site.

People fishing with you will though.

Thanks Greg and Skip - Looks like I'm covered. Got my National Saltwater Registry card in the mail last month.

Jon, Skip wasn't refering to the saltwater registry, which you also need, he was refering to this https://hmspermits.noaa.gov/initialapp.asp If you aren't going to fish for tuna, shark or marlin, however, you don't need this permit
