DCMSSA Nov 7 Capt Wayne Morgan

DCMSSA,

I hope you all survived Sandy. Join us Wednesday Nov 7, 7:30pm at Steamer’s in Bethesda for another fantastic meeting. This month’s guest speaker is the well know Captain Wayne Morgan. Capt Wayne runs unique teaching charters on the Frayed Knot out of Deale, MD www.frayedknotfishing.com . Captain Wayne will be sharing all of his secrets re: fishing the fall rockfish run. With Capt Wayne’s help I am sure that one of our members will win the fall tournament.

The DCMSSA meetings are free and open to all. Join us and if it’s your first meeting (or your guest’s first meeting) Zach will buy you a beer. Thanks Zach!

We have some great meetings coming up including fly fishing guide Rob Snowhite in December.

Also, the first annual DCMSSA Swap Meet is Wednesday January 9. Note that this meeting has been pushed back a week from our regular schedule because of new years. Please bring any fishing gear that you are interested in selling or trading to the meeting. Any gifts you received for the holidays that you don’t need, or any gear in good condition that you have sitting in your garage that you just don’t use. Hopefully there will be someone at the meeting who can put the gear to good use and offer you cash or other gear for it. This should be a lot of fun so please participate.

Also, please remember to sign up for the MSSA Fall Classic rockfish tournament Nov 17-18. This tournament is a lot of fun and is a great opportunity to put Capt Wayne’s info to use. www.mssa.net/fall-tournament

Thanks and see you Wednesday.

Jeremy
