Please let us know if you are interested in the tournament by replying to this thread. It would be good to have a general idea of how many to expect at the Captain's Meeting.

CBA MEMBERS 2016 FALL ROCKFISH TOURNAMENT

DATE NOVEMBER 26, 2016
TIME LINES IN NO EARLIER THAN 5:00AM

YOU MUST BE IN LINE TO CHECK IN FISH BY 2:00PM
(EARLY CHECK IN WILL BEGIN AT 12:00 NOON)

WHERE: FISHING IS ALLOWED IN THE CHESAPEAKE BAY AND TRIBUTARIES

CHECK IN WILL BE AT ATLANTIC MARINA BY BOAT OR CAR THERE WILL BE A LIMIT OF ONE FISH PER BOAT AT THE CHECK IN.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING MORE THAN YOUR ONE LONGEST FISH TO THE CHECK IN STATION.

AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED AT COCUNUT CHARLIES IMMEDIATELY AFTER CHECK IN

METHOD: ALL LEGAL MEATHODS OF FISHING ARE ALLOWED

PRIZE: CASH PAY OUT FOR THE LONGEST FISH AS MEASURED BY THE CHECK IN OFFICIALS MEASUREMENT WILL BE FROM THE TIP OF THE NOSE TO THE TIP OF THE TAIL.

CASH PRIZE FOR 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD LONGEST FISH

A TIE WILL BE AWARDED TO THE FIRST FISH TO BE CHECKED IN THAT DAY
PAY OUT BASED ON 20 BOATS : 1ST PLACE = $800.00 2ND PLACE = $500.00
3RD PLACE = $200.00

ENTRY FEE $100.00 PER BOAT UP TO 4 ANGLERS - $25.00 PER ANGLER OVER 4 ANGLERS

FEE INCLUDES A LIGHT FOOD BUFFET AT COCONUT CHARLIES DURING THE AWARDS PRESENTATION. A CASH BAR IS AVAILABLE.

CBA MEMBERS MEETING - REGISTRATION AND CAPTAINS MEETING WILL BE HELD AT COCONUT CHARLIES ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2016 AT 7:00 PM FOR CBA MEMBERS. ALL FEES ARE DUE AT THIS TIME.
TOURNAMENT WILL BE LIMITED TO A TOTAL OF 25 BOATS. IF THERE ARE LESS THAN 25 CBA MEMBERS REGISTERED AT THE END OF THE MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 14TH, THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE OPENED TO NON MEMBERS UP TO THE 25 BOAT MAXIMUM.

ALL PARTICIPANTS AND THEIR GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL SAFETY AND THE SECURITY OF THEIR PERSONAL PROPERTY AND EXPRESSLY ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS TO THEIR PERSONAL SAFETY AND WELL BEING AS A RESULT OF THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THIS TOURNAMENT. IT IS A PRE-CONDITION OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CBA TOURNAMENT THAT ALL PARTICIPANTS AND GUESTS SHALL RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE CBA AND ANY SPONSERS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, COSTS AND EXPENSES, PERSONAL INJURIES, WRONGFUL DEATHS AND PROPERTY DAMAGE, WHATSOEVER ARISING FROM OR DURING PARTICIPATION OF THIS TOURNAMENT. BY ELECTING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CBA TOURNAMENT, ALL PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO, AND GRANT THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED TO WITHDRAW OR DISAVOW THAT RELEASE OF LIABILITY.

No Ragrets will be present and following Marty around all day.

JUSTIFIED is in and following Rockin Robin around so it should be a tight race for 3 &4th. Marty may know how to perch fish, but Jason is the man when it comes to stripers. Hell, he has ROCK in the boat's name. I feel he is scorned and will be seeking revenge now that the species has been changed.

PS- the tight race will be between Stevan and Marty as Jason and I will obviously have 1 & 2nd wrapped up!!! :eek: :p. Let the Games begin!!!! :D

on them there judges! Don't worry about me following, two things i always avoid: the police followed by the judge!

Count 5th Tuition in; although I gave away all my secrets last year and every member of my winning crew is entering their own boat this year:eek:

Maybe I'll try to get the women's soccer team that hired Capt. John and I this spring to crew for me:D

What if you can't make the Captains meeting next week???? I'll be out of town.
