Totally Ashamed

Well; today was probably my last day to troll this season (unless I head to Smith Point Va. or hit the Power Plant early next year). I didn't have the greatest of days. I was prepared to ***** and moan because we had four hookups and only got two fish (unders) in the boat. Then, I heard what happened in the Ct. school where young children (and adults) were killed in a senseless shooting.
Sometimes it takes a kick in the nuts to bring you back to reality.
I have two young grandchildren and cannot imagine them being involved in a tradgedy like this.
I know prayers will be offered in their behalf.
Hug your little ones extra tight tonight.

Marty, I got a photo of you trolling next to us yesterday but my phone is dead and I cannot get the photo off of it. We ended up with 6 from 27.5" to 38".

I plan on a trip to PLO and over the VA Line between Christmas and New Years if you want to buddy boat.

PS having 3 young kids with my youngest in Kindergarten, I think this is the first news story I ever felt like crying over.

I was out fishing Friday as well and it was a slow bite.

It was getting to me - then one of the guys got the news of the shooting on his smart phone.

Suddenly - fish not biting meant nothing.

20 young lives snuffed out - how can those parents get through something like this ?
