11/18 report-Love Point-TPL

Not much of a report but... ran from Chestertown this AM fished from 8-1:30. Started in the mouth of the Chester-nothing. Moved out off L P and caught a 21" on a #17 Tony on bottom in 30'. Ran to just below the Bay Bridge and trolled southwest for a while w/o a bite. Picked up and ran to TPL and trolled southeast. Picked up a 19" in 43' on green BFG WWB. Trolled to just above #86 and back to TPL with nothing else. We ran 7 boats rods-no boards. Two fish is better than nothing and it was a nice day for a boat ride. Back to the dock and fished cleaned by 4:00.

I noticed. I must admit that I did go out Sunday in the Chester trolling the shore lines to find 1 lonely 15". Up in the creeks its seemed we were doing a lot of catch and re"leaf" fishing.:D (Leaves- the 1 bad thing about the fall!) It was nice not to worry about that too much in the Bay today.

I am starting to think that 2010 has just been an off year...early to mid september had me excited about a good fall, but it has went downhill for me since the beginning of October....

I want to post reports but I really have had nothing to report...I hope this weekend and hopefully a few days next week changes that....

I probably should have put up a report this past weekend.

Hadnt been out in a few weeks and got off work thursday & friday and also fished sunday.

Nothing but dinks thursday & friday but found some bigguns on sunday.
All 3 days nothing hit till about 2 hours before sunset but i didnt get out till noonish.

Sunday made me realise I need some bigger gear though.
Had 3 break offs and even snapped the tip off my mojo bass rod.
Boated a few up to 30" but would sure like to know how big the ones that broke me off were.

Trying to get out this weekend if the weather cooperates.

We were out on tuesday in that area as I was getting a check engine alarm and I wanted to run the boat shortly before I fish hard this weekend. We only trolled a few hours but ended up with one fish around 30" and lost another that was pulling drag on a 330gti with the drag tight and 65lb braid. Lots of bait in the bay by the bridge. We had both hook ups on the ledge between 55 and 75 foot of water.

Check engine light ended up being an oxygen sensor that BOE Marine quickly replaced for me.
