Honda warranty extension on #3 main bearing and thrust washer?
 

Yesterday I received a letter from Honda Marine extending the warranty on my 2010 225 Honda #3 cylinder main bearing and thruster washer to 7 years/2500 hours.

Anyone else get a similar letter?

I was unaware there was a problem. I am at 400 hours.

Saw that on another board. That was Walleye Pete's problem with his 225 Honda. I think his experience is what brought the attention to Honda.

It is only certain year serial numbers that are affected. I think it's good that Honda extended the warranty for this part (just like the O2 sensor).

I expect my letter soon:D

I agree with Marty, maybe I should take over your 27' for this summer?? I promise not to trailer it anywhere :D. (Unless you want me too of course)

The keys are never taken out of the ignition. You just have to know where it is, how to pacify the dobermans, and where the beer is stashed to get it away from the dock.....I nearly have Marty through my vetting process...
