Trolling 10/11

Put out a trolling spread at the choptank yesterday morning, found all of the fish near the bottom.
Most were holding in 25-30' of water. All the action happened with the tide moving and then nothing.

Tryed to LTJ with no result. No birds and no breakers.

We were all over that area from sunrise through about noon. Went all over the Choptank, Little Choptank and South side of Poplar with some anxious jigging sticks....nada:(. No bird activity, no breaking fish. Did see tons of bait holding tight to the bottom on the east side of the channel from 25-35'. Soon as these fish school up it will be game on.

We hit the north side of poplar island in mid afternoon during the low tide, (which seemed like it consumed most of the day ) and nada. We saw no one doing anything in the whole area as far as the binoculars could see.

I'm pretty convinced that whole area around poplar island is only good during a high moving tide that correlates with dawn or dusk. The north and north west corners appear to me to be the better areas to target when the fish are there. Any thoughts anyone?:)
