Dolphins feeding off Holland Pt - 9/28

Ran from Tolly Pt to Stone Rock this morning looking for birds and breakers. Found nothing but schools of menhaden until we got off Holland Pt and Brian (my 11 year old) says, "Daddy, I saw something big surface near that boat." We followed around 10-15 dolphins for 45 minutes or so taking pictures and movies and enjoying their beauty. Tough to get good shots with the dolphins just porpoising and heading back down. We did see a dolphin catch a decent size rockfish, and to my surprise when I was looking through the pictures I found a burst of photos on my cell phone that included the dolphin grabbing the rockfish and busting up out of the water... according to Brian it was the coolest thing he ever saw. By the way we were marking a lot of decent size rockfish around the dolphins but decided not to try trolling that area because there were so many dolphins we were afraid we would catch one. Continued north and caught a bunch of blues but never did get into any rockfish.
