Just saw this on a hunting forum i frequent. Haven't been on CBangler or anything lately so I hope you boys haven't ragged on me too much! :D Anyway, this guy was fishing up in Alaska and came across 4 blacktail deer swimming across Stephens passage. The deer made a B-line for the boat and "willingly" came aboard, then collasped wiht exhaustion. They took the deer back to dock and let them go.

Hey Phil, All you need to do is click on the picture to enlarge. Neat story! Too bad YOU can't just click on a rock fish to enlarge. :D Sorry buddy, but you opened the door. Good to hear from you!................Gary

Geesh do you live on this forum or something!? I mean heck i'm not on it for months, and I put 1 post up and BAM! Gary's first one to it! Anyway, yeah i've been creepin' around. trying to do alot of hunting over the fall so didn't get into any fishing. Well I did ALOT of hunting and very little killing. Was hoping to get me one of those heart pounding take your breath away bucks to come into range, but they just wouldn't do it for me! Ended up with 1 lil' buck that by far was some of the best vension i'd ever have, so I'm not 1 to complain about that! Hope to get out with you all here as soon as "the ladies" show up in the bay!

Didn't someone have a similar incident here on the Chesapeake a couple of years back with a deer in the water?

I think the story was the same; they got the deer into the boat and put it up on a beach somewhere.....

There was a bay story like that posted a while ago. I would be REAL careful and make sure the deer was worn out before I would put one on my boat. They will kick the living $hit out of you and your boat..............Gary

Yeah Someone had pics and all. I think they took the deer to Sandy Point.

Phil, You got to come hunting with me next year. I got a farm in Damascus where I see 20 -30 deer almost every time I hunt. We need to fill some bushel baskets this summer also..........Gary
