Ice report

Just got back from doing some work on my boat in Middle River. The main river is thawed out, some of the creek heads are still icy. I imagine all of the ice is over at Rock Hall with the wind gusting to 40mph from west. They can have it:p

So who plans to brave it first? This weekend is out for me but the next looks probable weather permitting.

Saturday we will be running from Fortescue, NJ on the Delaware Bay to Deale via the CD Canal. I expect it to be ice free but I'll let ya know what I see,

I am sure that as far as ice goes all will be good. However, every body of water I cross has been full of debris. Please be careful I would hate for something to happen to the new to you boat. I'll be praying for ya! Good luck be careful.

Safe travels. Ran my boat out to cape may last summer for a weekend, nice trip! Recommend timing your trip so that the wind and tide are heading in the same direction. Although it's probably not that big of a deal in the big boat, the DE Bay can get nasty.
