Two skunks

Left the bodkin today with lucky Jay at around 0900 with the intentions of fishing the mid morning tide. Had a slight breeze out of the southeast and overcast sky's but no rain. Said h to Marty's uncle jake as we were leaving the creek, what the hell always seems to work for him so gave it a try. Headed out towards the shoals and saw some small patches of birds working bait and gave it a try jigging but only dinks were home and really were not marking much. Wind started to pick up and we decided to check out the inside of the patapsco river and again we're greeted by small patch of birds but not one taker. StAyed with them for about a half hour with nothing when the drizzle started and winds were building so we stuck our heads between our legs and headed for the barn. No fish to be had but it sure was fun spending the day on the water with a good friend. Sure beat the hell outta working!

Sounds like the pickings are VERY slim these days

Next week's weather is looking great so we'll all have the chance to kill these skunks I think.
