Spanish and Blues/Ches. Beach

Quick report before a shower and nap. Up at 4:30 and off to Ches. Beach. Picked up a buddy at 6 am and hit the ramp about 7. Ran down to Parkers Creek looking for bird activity. Nothing happening, so we dropped the spread in 30 ft and headed to the channel. Picked up a nice size blue and a spanish in about 50 ft of water. Circled back around to no avail. Continued east and had a couple more hits in 65 ft. Threw another blue and spanish in the box. Did another circle and again to no avail:eek:.
Headed across to the false channel and had a few more blue pickups. We only had time to do one more crossing back toward Parkers because Lou had to be home in time to start drinking his "super chit mix" for his colonoscomy tomorrow:D.
We saw a lot more activity (birds) back in 35 ft in front of Parkers. We picked up one more blue and pulled rods for the run back to CB.
Beautiful day on the water, with a few fish for dinner (we only kept a couple blues and two spanish). Water was very clean and 74.5 degrees this morning and heated up to 76 around noon.
