two hot days

Yesterday 72* yesterday morning (5am); today 79* at 5am:mad:

Jason was fortunate enough to clue me in on a hot bite. Last two days, we have had breaking fish up to 23 inches on topwater and metal jigs. Maybe a 10/1 ratio of keepers to shorts, but still lots of pullage.

Yesterday limit by 8am (fished until 9:30). Today, we had our limit by about the same time (fished until 10). It was getting hot, the ride home with windows open felt good:D
Back at the dock, the guys cleaned fish while I cleaned the boat. At least I got to play in the hose:eek:

Fish all cleaned and back home eating lunch by noon:)

I can't give away Jason's spot, but it won't be a secret much longer.

A good network of friends is more important than all the fishing/weather apps I have on my phone.

Probably not out again until next week, maybe the heat will break.

I don't see any thermometer on that roof. It looks like a cool 72* :D:D
