Lowrance HDS questions
 

Hi gang,

I just recently purchased a lowrance HDS 5 for my cuddy cabin. I would of loved to gone bigger but the windshield won't let me fit anything larger:mad: Anyway I was wondering what set ups do you guys run as far as settings like ping and scroll speeds. I have the 83/200 ducer. I mainly fish the Choptank and mid bay area. Is it best to run it in the 200khz? The other question I have is the fishing mode operation. What is the best for our area? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Vacation starts Saturday as I will be off for 11 days. I'm just trying to get started in the right direction with this unit. I hope to get out at least 8 of the 11. Hope to see you all on the water. Thanks in advance!
