Same story, different day. Cut out early from work and got on the water about 2:15. Fished til 6:45 and caught a 27" and a 38.5". Both came off tandems, one on white and 1 on green. Around red ship and TPL. In 50ish ft of water. Seemed to be less bait around today.
Going out tomorrow with just the wife so prolly won't fool with any fishing, depends on how many millions of people are out I guess. Good luck to those that go.

No fishing today, i chose to circle Kent Island looking at boats everywhere, fuel up, lunch at Harris' Crab House, then back to the slip. Didn't have to wash a thing, now that's nice!
Just another great day on the Chesapeake!!

Jeff,

I think I saw you and that sweet ride of yours on Friday at about 9:30 am near that red anchored ship. I was packing it in, as I had just put one in the boat.

No, I didn't go out until Friday afternoon. It was probably bhl (Bruce) on the "Hook 'Em", practically the same boat. Thanks for the boat complement though.

I picked up a 35'' around the same spot yesterday, first time out fishing this year.

Congrats!! Good to hear there are still a few hanging around over there. I plan to go this afternoon, once the tournament crowds die down.

Thank goodness and congrats. We took a skunk yesterday:(, and were dumbfounded. We did everything that I did solo the previous Friday and in the same area when I caught a 39 incher before the whole spread was deployed.

Those fish definitely must be in bunches, and we were obviously where they were not. We're going to tee it up again this Monday with my 91 year old Pop.

I plan to be out Monday as well. Not sure exactly where yet but going out early AM. I should be on ch68. Good Luck!
