Published: Wednesday, February 17, 2010 7:50 AM CST By DOUG BISHOP Staff Writer STEVENSVILLE - He describes fishing in the Chesapeake Bay as so much fun, it's like visiting the "Disney World of fishing. I learn something new every time I go out there." Shawn Kimbro, 47, now of Stevensville, moved to Maryland three years ago from his native Tennessee. Born and raised in Kingsport, Tenn., Kimbro started fishing in small freshwater ponds, lakes and streams, at a very early age as a child. To put simply, he got "hooked" on the sport of fishing as a child, and the 'child' has never left him. You'll have to subscribe to the paper's website or buy the hardcopy to read the rest of the article. I will say it is full of interesting facts, for example, Shawn says; "I like to fish anywhere around the Bay Bridge. You'll find me Trolling there or anywhere 10 miles south or 10 miles north of the bridge." I already have the article framed and hanging in the shop. Just waiting for an autograph. |

We have some very cool things in the works for CarefulCatch coming up this year. I'll post about them when it's all confirmed. |
What about Trolling?
I didn't make that up, the writer may have, but not me.
The age thing must have been a typo. |
Now misquote a woman's age - her friends cry and she will cut your throat.
Mis quote a guy's age - we all have a good laugh and tease the old geezer.:D |

Shawn,
How did trolling work back in those nice ponds in Tenn ? Is there a trick about jig/trolling the bay you haven't told us about yet ? Did the writer have one too many Jack & Peach's ? :) Mike |
