If I payed enough attention... Some noteable things:

States still have to present their desired regulations to the ASMFC on Flounder.. Maryland was over the quota by quite a bit and will probably have same regulations along the coast and in the bay this year.

Sea Bass approved motion was to increase quota and have a season of May22-Sept12 with 25 fish per person of 12.5" and larger. (Of course this is just a recommendation to the NMFS)

Striped bass.... Young indexes were noted as a concern. Harsh critcism of VA fleet Fishing outside of the EEZ (National Charterboat Capt Assn VP and MD delegate suggested loss of license and stiff fines for EEZ violators). NC Delegate suggested opening of the EEZ to better manage and account for the fish harvested. Presentation on Mycobacteria infection in striped bass in the Chesapeake.

CBAnglers Shawn Kimbro, Dave Sikorski, and Dave Smith were all there.
