For a heavy metal freak - there is little worse. Maybe front row to American Idol.

Went a few years ago - hour into the show I debated setting myself on fire.
Hour and a half - they took the lighter from me :D

Made it through but required three days of listening to Cannibal Corpse ( their Christmas CD ) to get back to normal.

Guess I'll take ear plugs this time.

Could be worse, my wife took me three times to hear James Taylor. Now I don't mind his music, but the man doesn't MOVE. All that moves are his lips:D. Maybe if he had some of those "flygirls" like they had on "In living color" or something. Yea; I know I'm old:D.

Of course, the pretenders weren't too bad and I almost got into a fight with some jackass guy the other time, so it wasn't all bad.

If you want to never go again...sing along to every song, loud, and out of key. Problem solved.

They do 2 good cover songs (and I only know this because Bad Religion and NoFX used to be 2 of my favorite bands.)

Skip.. Tuesday, about 10 AM, cut yourself with some duct work.. Just a couple of gentle, shallow slices.. Blood everywhere, all of a sudden you have a headache, Problem solved.
