DMV Trailer Tags

Went home last night after hitting the liquor store to stock up on some beer for the big snow storm.

Walked to the mail box opened up the mail box, an envelope from the DMV greeted me.

$160.00 for two year renewal for trailer tags. Ouch those 12,000lbs trailers are slightly more expensive.

I agree with Mark go with the Maine tag, got mine last year and you can't beat the prices. It takes a little bit to get started but after that it's a breeze.

Thanks guys. I am definitely looking into this.

I forgot to mention in the first post I have three trailers.

1 has a 14’ Carolina skiff
1 has a 19’ Stingray
1 has the 25’ CC.

And I have two kayaks

Need to sell one before all of the registration fees add up.

You know you have a problem when the insurance company offers you a multi boat discount on your policy.
:o

The worst part of Md DMV - they never send me a new trailer tag - even though I request it every two year renewal. They need to make a boat trailer tag from aluminum. The scrap steel they use rusts out in no time in saltwater dunkings.

I'm forced to make a special trip to DMV - that is always a fun hour
