It's the obvious next step, and somebody's gotta do it, so you should try optic fibers. You know, so it lights up like a Christmas tree with alternating colors? Get that down pat and maybe you can catch a few fish that compare with the ones these purple jigs are turning up! :D

Thanks for the positive comments guys. The lures with flash in them produced extremely well last year. I am also using contrasting colors to help with visual component. The flash looks great, I defiantly think it helps triggering a strike on some days.

I am getting ready to start round two soon. Just waiting on more supplies to be delivered which have been delayed by the snow. :(
