Belle Grove ponds
 
We have been catching yellow perch from 8" to 13",crappie from 9" to 12"and stripers from 16" to 27" all this month and still catching them.........woody

Are you going on the Lansdowne side, through the park or the Pumphries side ?

That's where I wanted to go today.....but this G%&&%^%)!@ cold has other plans for me.

Sounds good....I have a few other "off the beaten path" ponds in that area to revisit as well.


Also, that book I mentioned in the other thread is laid out pretty nice and should serve as a nice guide for a full day of pond hopping.

If you go park all the way to the right of the parking lot on the grass unless you want to be towed off of the American legion parking lot...........woody

Went there yesterday for a while. There was at least 4 or 5 other guys fishing there but like us, they didn't seem to be catching anything,

There was a shiny film on the water and the smell of diesel fuel was strong.:mad: Nothing good about that......

The minnows died after about 45 seconds in the water.
