Tpl 4-24

Snuck out this morning with a customer (so really I was on the job at 4:30am when we left for the boat right?). He does a fair amount of fishing but mainly on Lake Erie and mostly for walleye.
Since they were calling for only 5 mph, why not go out and enjoy the flat seas? Well sure did seem to pick up much faster that I thought it would. By 9 it was blowing 20kts  Tide was bucking the wind so it made for yet another sporty trip.
Did manage to land a 39" which was my customer's Personal biggest fish ever!! It took him a long time to get that thing in the boat too! JD green tandem back 8. We had a second fish on a daisy chain but the crimp failed almost right away  Adventurous day out there, fortunately the traffic was at a minimum AND no boards flipped, we came in about 10:30. Did see 5th working hard on the Patent Pending so figured I was in a good spot, that sure is a pretty boat!!!
Hope to be back out there on Friday, Monday, & a trip or 2 over the weekend.

Damn straight, working hard. That wind is a killer. I started with #32 rubber bands and that worked well for a while. Soon had to switch over to 64's:eek:

We had Mike and Scott onboard today with their crew. One young lady didn't like the seas. Her breakfast was left out by Thomas Point. Then last nights dinner went over, and lastly just bile:D.
We had two fish hooked up before the spread was out:).. Lost one on the way in:mad: then it got snotty. Only got one more nice fish in the box. Two nasty to fish where and how you want.
Mostly traveled N/S because of the conditions. I'm more than ready to see the winds die down. Tomorrow afternoon looks good.

Thanks Mike and Scott for all the help today; it was appreciated.
