Gang time to earn some fishing time. I am all decked out and ready to head up the spawning river. Hopefully I impress the wife and get some extra get out of jail free cards.

"Get Out of Jail Cards" Not Needed Over Here!
 

I must be lucky, because there are no “get out of jail cards” needed in my house. :) Mine not only goes fishing with me, she will get on me in the summer to put her on flounder and croakers. The problem is, she cannot stand the cold, so heading out with her for yellows in February or rock in November & December aint happening. I tried, and as recently as last night when I asked her out on a yellow perch date. She turned me down and told me to go with Norm. :D

Again, I must be lucky. Mine is very frugal, likes to go to Michaels, and when she does, typically drops around 8 to 12 bucks. It’s a running joke of ours; I’ll drop her off at Michaels at Arundel Mills and then go to Bass Pro. When we’re done, the joke is that she tells me what she spent, and the I reply “add a zero to your bill and that’s what I spent” :D

Anyway, good luck with the yellows Fish Nut. My better half is visiting her sister and Mom this Sunday, maybe I can give them a shot myself this weekend. BTW, she loved the cards, cut flowers, & potted tulips, as well as the bluefish dinner that I cooked for her last night. :)

I'm saving up for summer days.

Whatever she says this time of the year is gospel in my house. :o
