Anyone fish OC winter?

Looking to trailer my boat, buddy boat, Ho in OC this winter, chasing Tog and other tasty critters...maybe even some stupid rockfish (can't get away from those bastards)...

anyone done it before? Tog are new to me, JB has expressed interest in going, but I don't want to go blind...any good idea from you fine fisher fellers?

We went out of OCMD last Jan..

We had rockfish.

We had whales (they must have been curious about the boat as they got very close when we would drift but would sound when the engine would start) :eek::cool:

Mark, never fished down there in winter by boat...just surf.
