MSSA Day 1&2
 
I usually fish south for the tournament but I had a lot of family stuff going on. Sick kids, son's track meet, wife doctors appt., etc.. Decided to give it a go on my home turf and fished mostly between TPL and the 85 area. I didnt fish today but took my wife and youngest to see the Jungle Book after Church (fun movie).

Both days were a grind but Friday was bit more exciting given that everyone on board go a fish over 40" for state citation and we had some personal bests. The bite was early on the deep water edge but then we found a shallower bite a bit later after the tide change.

Saturday was tougher grind in the same area but we started down by 85 and worked north. We had fish 38-40" and a couple of lost fish too. One bent the hook and got off. I guess we had too much drag on the quantum reel with 80lb braid to a small umbrella.
