Marty and I ran his boat down to point lookout for a day fishing. As I was walking to the boat I saw something I had never seen on Marty’s boat..... jigging Rods, and a lot of them! Headed out to 72A and nada, worked our way south and finally found birds working out in front of the PLO lighthouse and proceeded to jig but school was moving fast and alas out come the trolling rods. I will have to say it was a good call as we started boating nice fat fish from 22”- just shy of 30”. Wound up with our limit and got a call it was on fire down at smith point light so off we went. Arrived to find birds working everywhere but were only catching dinks! After limiting out at 11:20 we called it and made the long ride back to Buzzes marina. I’ll be heading back down Thursday for a long weekend if the weather holds.

Thanks for the report. I’m sure you guys had fun. If the bay doesn’t fill up with clutter and the weather holds out, I plan to run down that way on Friday and Sat too. It will be nice to have a buddy boat down there. ;)

We areplanning on staying in Solomons tho.

Heading South in 2 hours. Fine me some fish!!!
