First Spanish of the year

Capt. John had a charter today and we put 12 rock (19-26 inches) in the cooler, 8 blues, and our first spanish (21 inches worthy of a citation I believe).

We ran 7 rods with John's spreader bars and his lures. Two rods 8 ozs back 14 bars, two rods 10 ozs back 10 bars, two rods 12 ozs back 6 bars, and 1 rod 20 ozs back 6 bars.

We did find breakers today with all three species included in the action:D.
Chesapeake Beach area of the bay.

Thanks for the report. I have a charter down that way in about 2 weeks so it looks like I have some good timing on this one.
