DC Metro MSSA: Capt Ken Lahr Oct 6

All,

The DC Metro MSSA chapter will meet Wednesday October 6 @ 7:30pm. Captain Ken Lahr, fishing tackle designer and manufacturer, fishing guide and saltwater angling instructor will be our guest speaker. Captain Ken will be sharing his knowledge on the topic of Offshore Deep Drop Fishing. This will be an informative and useful presentation for all saltwater anglers. This presentation will be an excellent way to learn how to tune your fish-finder and GPS to help you find and catch more fish! BRING A FRIEND!

Visit Captain Ken’s website: www.reeldraggintackle.com.

As usual, we will be sharing fishing reports and tips. We will also be discussing the current live-lining bite, top-water casting, and the Marlin bite offshore. Some beverages and chips will be provided. Door prizes will be fantastic including a great new Trolling Reel, some nice gear and offshore lures!

Don’t miss the meeting, Wednesday October 6, 7:30pm at 4805 Edgemoor lane, Room A, Bethesda, MD 20814. There is plenty of parking, and the meeting room is only a block from the metro.

Jeremy, best of luck with Ken.. I have no desire to learn about DD...

BUT, I'll come out in November and heckle Skip and come December...

I'll be busting my buddy Steves balls.... NON STOP !!!

Fogel you have been warned !!!:D:D:D:D:D

Heckle me all you want - a 20 oz MoJo thrown usually stops it :D

Be careful picking on Steve F - midget abuse might be considered a hate crime

Skip; the term midget is no longer acceptable, I believe dwarf or "little people" is the correct term now.
Retarded is also a no-no.
I'm reminded all the time from my adult children who constantly remind me that "oriental" is a food; "Asian" is a person:eek:.

I am glad you guys are planning to attend future meetings. If there are any topics of interest, or speakers, that you think would get people excited, please let me know and I will try to work them into the rotation.

Jeremy I had a horrific nightmare last night. Decembers guest speaker, while a fine rod maker and above average fisherman, his sense of direction, is well.... how do I say this... oh I know.. not worth a ****....:D:D:D

I will contact said speaker and offer my chauffeuring services to ensure the meeting will feature guest speaker as advertised. Otherwise i fear we'll all be looking at each other, drinking, scratching and farting.. Which, while I adore most of you... frankly I can do at home.....:):):)

Ascots are optional but we do have strict policies against Pittsburg Penguins gear now that hockey season is back.

Awesome meeting last night. Thanks to all who attended! We had a good crowd, with lots of new faces. Ken Lahr was a terrific guest speaker and we all learned a ton about deep drop fishing for tiles! See you all next month when Skip (27Sailfish) will be speaking about catching big fall rockfish in the bay.
