March; sorry to see it go

Yeah, I know, it's been cold, rained its a$$ off, brought lots of silt and dirty water down the bay. It also probably brought lots of nutrients (phosphorous, nitrogen) down that will create more dead zones this year. The big fish haven't showed up in large numbers, and I haven't been out as much as I would have liked.

So why am I sorry to see March go? I like the March photo in my Dr Julie Ball calendar, and the April photo stinks.

All I can say is (in April) the fishing better improve, the boat better run flawlessly, and we better have a lot of sunny days with winds "light and variable".

I hope I'm looking at tide tables more than the calendar:D.

Your right Marty, March was a cold month and I’m ready for some spring weather. It looks like by Thursday we are going to get the temps in the 80’s and I think I will be out on Friday to see if any of those fish have moved North.

Look at it this way Marty...with the warmer weather on it's way at least you can blame your "tennis" elbow on fishing again.:)
